Privacy Policy

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store and during software product registration.

Can children use our services?

We comply with the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. We have extended this age to include anyone under the age of majority, age 18 in most locations, as you must be at least the age of majority to download software or purchase a license from our website. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal information from someone not allowed to use our services, we will promptly delete it, unless we are legally obligated to retain such data.

Please contact us if you believe that we have mistakenly or unintentionally collected information from someone not allowed to use our services.

What we collect and store

When you register our software, we require an email address even for a trial license. We use your email address for authentication as we will email license keys and verification codes only to the address which you specify. When registering a full license key for a software product, we use a two-step method to protect license keys from fraudulent use. In addition we also store the IP address associated with the registration to help track fraudulent activity.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and preventing fraud or misuse of the website

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, you will first need to create a billing account. We’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, phone number, credit card/payment details. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings

When you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.

Please note that any payment methods (credit cards) that you add to your account can be deleted at any time and it is not necessary to add a payment method to your account as you can enter your payment details during checkout where they will only be stored for the process of a single transaction.

What we share with others

We do not sell your personal information to third party companies or organizations.
